Exabytes today launched GROW AI at the Exabytes GROW AI Summit 2026 at EQ Kuala Lumpur, marking its strategic evolution from helping businesses establish and expand their digital presence to enabling them to adopt artificial intelligence securely, practically and at scale. The strategy extends the company’s long-running GROW Digital mission into the next phase of business transformation, helping organisations move beyond fragmented AI tools and pilot projects towards integrated applications that improve productivity, customer engagement, decision-making and operational performance.

Built around the principles of Reliable, Accessible, Scalable and AI-driven (RASA), GROW AI brings together Exabytes’ capabilities across cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, business applications, eCommerce, workplace productivity, automation and managed AI services, alongside Exabytes Commerce’s expertise in eCommerce and AI-powered customer journeys. Through the strategy, Exabytes aims to help entrepreneurs, SMEs, large enterprises and public-sector organisations progress from digital adoption towards AI-enabled growth, while advancing its wider ambition to empower one million businesses to GROW AI by 2030.
The launch comes as Malaysia advances its AI Nation 2030 ambition and businesses face increasing pressure to translate growing interest in AI into practical implementation. A 2025 study developed by Ecosystm in partnership with Red Hat and supported by the National AI Office found that only 21% of 133 Malaysian SMEs surveyed had progressed beyond AI pilots, while 60% cited insufficient in-house technical expertise as a major barrier to adoption.
“For the past 25 years, Exabytes has helped businesses establish the digital foundations they need to grow. GROW AI represents the next chapter of that journey, helping organisations move from being digitally present to becoming intelligently operated,” said Chan Kee Siak, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Exabytes Group. “Businesses understand that AI will affect how they compete, but many are still uncertain about where to begin and how to implement it securely. Our role is to reduce that complexity by bringing together the technology, infrastructure, expertise and partners they need to turn AI into measurable business outcomes.”
Bringing together the right AI ecosystem
The GROW AI Summit brought together approximately over 500 business owners, C-suite executives, technology leaders, solution providers and public-sector stakeholders to discuss how organisations can move from AI interest to practical execution.
The summit featured contributions from Amazon Web Services, Lark, Aurora Mobile, Moka AI, Sangfor, EasyParcel, Aegis Cloud, AITraining2U and Forward College, representing expertise across cloud infrastructure, enterprise AI, workplace collaboration, human resources, cybersecurity, commerce, implementation and talent development.
Senior executives and industry leaders participated in keynotes, demonstrations and panel discussions examining how organisations can modernise infrastructure, integrate AI into daily workflows, strengthen customer engagement, protect business data and prepare their workforce for scalable AI implementation. Discussions also explored how AI is reshaping commerce and the customer journey, and how technology providers, businesses and education partners can work together to close Malaysia’s implementation and skills gaps – particularly in the domain of HR & Organizational Effectiveness, as mentioned by AI-native firm Moka AI. The summit concluded with an after-event networking session featuring NameStudio, a domain name discovery and suggestions service enhanced with AI capabilities.
Exabytes and Aurora Mobile form strategic enterprise AI partnership
A key announcement at the summit was the signing of a three-year Memorandum of Understanding between Exabytes and Aurora Mobile (NASDAQ: JG), through Aurora Mobile’s enterprise AI platform, GPTBots.ai.
The MoU was signed by Chan Kee Siak, Founder and CEO of Exabytes Group, and Chris Lo, Founder & CEO of Aurora Mobile. The partnership combines Exabytes’ cloud infrastructure, managed services, regional customer network and local implementation capabilities with Aurora Mobile’s expertise in enterprise AI platforms, AI agents, knowledge management, workflow automation and AI application development.
Under the collaboration, the companies intend to jointly develop enterprise AI solutions for businesses across Southeast Asia. These will range from AI-powered customer-service, sales, marketing and knowledge assistants for SMEs to enterprise AI agents, intelligent service desks, workflow automation, private AI deployments and hybrid AI infrastructure for larger organisations and government bodies.
The partnership will also include internal AI projects across Exabytes’ business functions, joint customer proof-of-concept programmes, managed AI services and regional ecosystem-development initiatives. Successful internal applications are intended to be developed into repeatable solutions and implementation frameworks that can subsequently be introduced to Exabytes’ customers.
“Enterprise AI transformation requires more than deploying a standalone chatbot or application. Organisations need to connect AI with their knowledge, workflows, employees and operational systems, while putting the right governance, security and operating capabilities in place to sustain adoption over time. By combining GPTBots.ai’ enterprise AI platform and agent capabilities with Exabytes’ infrastructure, managed services, implementation expertise and regional reach, we aim to help organisations across Southeast Asia progress from isolated pilots to enterprise-wide AI adoption that delivers measurable and lasting business value,” said Chris Lo, Founder and CEO of Aurora Mobile.
The MoU and wider summit programme reflect Exabytes’ partner-led approach to GROW AI, bringing together expertise across cloud infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, commerce and talent development to help businesses move from isolated use cases towards sustainable AI implementation.
“Businesses do not need to transform every function at once. They can begin with one clearly defined operational challenge and expand their AI adoption as their capabilities and requirements develop. The challenge is how to move the AI adoption from individual level, which is hard to measure the ROI, and elevate them to the company level with measurable financial metrics. Our focus is to help organisations identify where AI can create genuine value, establish the right foundation and move beyond experimentation towards implementation that can grow with their business,” said Eric Foo, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Exabytes Group.
The summit marks the beginning of a broader effort to translate its GROW AI strategy into practical implementation support, managed services and scalable solutions for businesses across Southeast Asia. By combining its regional reach with a partner ecosystem spanning infrastructure, enterprise AI, cybersecurity, commerce and talent, the company aims to empower one million businesses to GROW AI by 2030 and compete in an increasingly intelligence-driven economy.
