Celebrating its 40th anniversary with the community
It’s Sunway Group’s 40th anniversary and the communities it built are receiving the gift of Sunway Pals loyalty programme that offers savings and rewards to its supportive customers, as a gesture of appreciation.
The launch of the card today is timely and consistent with its anniversary theme, “Sunway, A Part of You” as it pays tribute to customers and stakeholders who have supported the growth of Sunway Group in the last 40 years from a small tin-mining company in 1974 to a diversified conglomerate with 40 locations around the world.
Founder and Chairman of Sunway Group, Tan Sri Dr Jeffrey Cheah said at the launch, “For the 40th Anniversary celebrations, we have selected the theme “Sunway, A Part of You” specifically because we wanted to pay tribute to all Malaysians who have supported its growth. We are proud also to announce that we have achieved a solid earnings growth for the financial year 2013 with a net profit of RM1.5 billion, a significant increase from RM438.8 million of the previous financial year. This is a landmark financial performance in the Group’s history, which makes our 40th Anniversary more special indeed”.
Sunway Pals will grow together with Sunway Group as it builds its future communities. This includes Sunway City Ipoh and Sunway’s upcoming development, Sunway Iskandar in Johor. The programme will be extended to other Sunway-owned malls such as Sunway Giza, Sunway Carnival and Sunway Putra Mall.
There is a cardless option for the programme which customers can register through the Sunwaypals smartphone App. The programme is recognised at numerous participating merchants of fashion, accessories, optical, digital, beauty, health, gifts and many more products and services as well as food and beverage outlets at Sunway Pyramid Mall.
The Sunway PALS programme rewards its customers with loyalty points every time they shop within Sunway. The points are then converted into cash rebates, which gives them savings when they spend. Each RM100 spent is converted into 100 Sunway Loyalty Points, which is rewarded RM1 cash rebate.
Members of the public can register for Sunway Pals for free at its Customer Service Centre at G1.96, Red Zone, Ground Floor, Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall (near ice-skating rink), through the Sunwaypals app on smartphones or through the website www.sunwaypals.com.my. Sunway Pals by Sunway Property has been renamed to Sunway Property Pals.
