Negroni Week Returns To Celebrate The Timeless Bond Between Campari And The Iconic Cocktail

Campari, Italy’s iconic red apéritif, and Imbibe Magazine join forces again for the 2025 edition of Negroni Week, running from 22nd to 28th September 2025 and featuring a global series of events in bars and restaurants supporting charitable partner Slow Food. Celebrating the power of storytelling through creative mixology with Campari at its heart, Negroni Week 2025 will see 165 outlets participating in Malaysia. We’re delighted to share that Negroni Week will see the participation of esteemed venues such as Marini’s On 57, Mesa On 51, Troika Sky Dining, Bar Two Pour One, along with many other wonderful outlets across Malaysia.

In 2024, over 13,000 bars and restaurants across nearly 90 countries participated in Negroni Week, helping raise a combined $600.000 that has supported an educational scholarship awarded to 24 industry professionals and 17 community-based projects around the world. For Negroni Week 2025, the Negroni Week Fund will continue to be distributed by Slow Food to directly support the hospitality community in helping preserve cultural and biological diversity, promoting food and beverage education with knowledge exchange, and fostering equity and wellness.

As the ever-growing epicentre of Asian mixology, the annual campaign provides a perfect backdrop to spotlight the country’s passionate and talented mixologists. More than mere supporters, Malaysia’s bartenders are ardent brand advocates, with their craft inextricably linked to the spirit of Campari.
CAMPARI RED HANDS FINAL x NEGRONI WEEK OPENING
Working towards its goal of engaging the local industry, this year’s campaign will be preceded by Red Hands Asia – a prestigious, high-stakes competition to crown the region’s ultimate bartending champions where teams from top Asian bars will face off in a creative challenge centred around incorporating the 5 senses into their cocktails. The winning bartender will represent their bar in the Grand Finale in Milan, finally vying for the coveted title of Campari Red Hands Asia Champion 2025.
Currently in its final stage, the remaining 5 bartenders have been announced with Jason Yee of Dear Hearts & Chilled Spirits, Rosyam Hakimi of Smith & Wollensky Kuala Lumpur, Thanesh Joel of Backdoor Bodega, Justin Yow of Good Friends Club & Audney Fulgado of The Vault as finalists. On the opening evening of Negroni Week on 22nd September, the winner heading to the APAC finals in Milan come January 2026 will be announced after a spirited showdown for their spot earlier in the day. Completely open to the public, cocktail drinkers can look forward to displays of expert bartending serving a rotation of exclusive Negroni variants and network behind-the-scenes with industry stalwarts.
Join us at Il Forno, Hyatt Centric Kuala Lumpur, on September 22nd from 4 PM to 6 PM for the Negroni Week 2025 Launch Party, where we’ll celebrate with exceptional Negronis and announce the winner of the Campari Red Hands 2025 Competition. This exciting event brings together cocktail enthusiasts and industry professionals to honour creativity in cocktail-making while supporting charitable causes.

Celebrating mixology culture across bar and restaurant partners, Campari has further extended its commitment to supporting Negroni Week’s charitable goals by inspiring bartenders and consumers to craft their own stories around the red heart of the world’s best-selling classic cocktail.
