台湾基隆中元祭活动之一的“鬼怪列车”，原载着妖怪搭台铁到基隆，但台铁表示去年接到不少投诉，抱怨“吓到小孩”，表明不同意“妖怪”上车，经过沟通协调，上车的“猛鬼”都变乖，可怕的面具都摘下，改走可爱路线，不再乱走吓人。
虽然活动由台铁人员全程紧钉，还是有小孩吓到哭，但也有人拿起手机，抢着跟“鬼”合照留念，也有乘客态度轻松亏“鬼”的妆“好像猫熊”。
