IOI Properties – Four Season Hotel

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. announced it has signed an agreement with IOI Properties Group to manage two hotels – Four Points by Sheraton Puchong and Le Meridien Putrajaya, slated to open in the fall of 2014 and 2015, respectively. These two new hotels will add 599 rooms to Starwood’s robust portfolio in the country and reflect Starwood’s desire to expand into the fast growing districts of Malaysia. Puchong and Putrjaya are part of the Klang Valley area, which includes Kuala Lumpur and its suburbs and adjoining cities and towns in the state of Selangor.

Bandar Puteri in Puchong is a mature township and home to all the local and international banks operating in Malaysia and many SMEs. The Four Point by Sheraton is part of 5 blocks of building which form the Puchong Financial and Corporate Centre, or PFCC. Other than setting an architectural benchmark in the region, PFCC also enjoys unrivalled frontage to the LDP where it is already home to many large corporations such as AIG, Bank of China, OCBC and VADS. With a host of comprehensive amenities already available there, the Four Point by Sheraton will further anchor Bandar Puteri Puchong as the regional hub for business and the preferred residential address.

On the other hand, IOI Resort City in Putrajaya is a relatively new destination known more for its leisure facilities which include Palm Garden Golf Club and Putrajaya Marriott Hotel and Spa. End of this year, IOI Resort City will add another feature to its cap with the opening of the 1.4 million sq ft IOI City Mall. The IOI City Mall will be the landmark of the Southern Klang Valley with many distinctive offerings not available in other malls such as the Olympic sized ice skating rink and a one of its kind adventure park which utilises the latest IT technology. Le Meridien Putrajaya is next to this upcoming IOI City Mall together with two blocks of office towers and will complement synergistically to both the office towers and the Mall
