Meraki Dining, known for its bespoke and intimate dining experiences, proudly announces the grand opening of its first restaurant on 20 July 2025 in Section 17, PJ, marking an exciting new chapter in its culinary journey.
Founded in 2020, Meraki began with a simple yet powerful mission: to bring wholesome, nutritious food to the public. From the start, the brand set itself apart by crafting in-house sauces, snacks, and corporate gifting innovations through its dedicated R&D. Its foray into private dining began unexpectedly when invited to cook for a private residence — the overwhelming response sparked a thriving business. Since then, Meraki Dining has curated unforgettable meals for private homes, corporate events, and weddings, proudly serving more than 10,000 guests to date.
The evolution of Meraki Dining reflects a refined vision: food as more than a meal — it’s a memory in the making. It’s about bringing the community together over familiar flavours, crafted with passion, precision, and heart. Meraki aims to be a neighbourhood restaurant that welcomes all walks of life, where the shared joy of dining sparks laughter, closeness, and connection.
The new restaurant carries this philosophy into a permanent home, serving modern Asian – contemporary Malaysian cuisine led by two exceptional rising talents — Chef LC and Chef Kumar. Guests can expect refined yet soulful dishes that honour local ingredients and culinary heritage, reimagined through a fresh and innovative lens.
Meraki Restaurant offers two distinctive dining spaces:
- Private dining room — seating 38 guests (up to 50 for cocktail-style events), ideal for exclusive gatherings
- Main dining hall — accommodating 60 guests in an inviting yet elegant atmosphere
